Storks have a nearly cosmopolitan distribution, currently being absent from the poles, almost all of North America and huge aspects of Australia. The centres of stork variety are in tropical Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, with 8 and six breeding species respectively. Just 3 species are existing in the New Entire world: Wooden stork, maguari stork and jabiru, which can be the tallest traveling bird on the Americas.
Most storks are present in flocks besides throughout the casino betting breeding season, when they pair off. They feed throughout the day. Most try to eat modest animals caught in shallow drinking water and fields. Some, just like the marabou stork of Africa and the adjutant stork of India, feed totally on carrion.
